The Department of U.G. Commerce with Computer Application was commenced in the year 2008 with two staff members and 42 students. Since the beginning, the Department showed interest, not only in academics, but also in extra-curricular, sports and ethical values. From the academic year 2017-18 the Department was renamed as the Department of Commerce in lieu of Commerce with Computer Application. Now the Department functions with 5 staff members and average of 150 students.
Mission:
The Department strives hard with a mission of inculcating the students, with subject knowledge along with ethics to make them socially responsible citizens.
Objectives:
To provide quality teaching and create an environment that stimulates the academic growth of the student.
To motivate the students to participate in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
To take all steps to make the students globally competent.
